This is a special vintage item: brown-core, steel-toe-less engineer boots.
These engineer boots are believed to be original from R.C. Anthony CO., an American department store chain that operated from 1922-1997.
They feature an ideal silhouette with a low toe and no steel shank. The brown core is peeking through in places, and they will develop more character with continued use.
The leather is supple and thick, giving them a fantastic atmosphere.
The soles are leather, and while there are some chips in the heels, they appear to be usable as is.
The upper strap on the right boot is torn.
You can repair it or wear them as they are.
There are some skipped stitches on the heel area. Please check the images.
A stamp of 9 1/2 can be seen on the insole.
