This is a Gamakatsu rotating rig winder.
It was used as an Ayu (sweetfish) rig winder, but can also be used as a rig winder for stream fishing.
Includes 1 unused new model, 2 used new models (→ The new models are all 3 yellow ones), and 2 used old models (→ The old models are the 2 orange ones), for a total of 5 winders, plus 5 unused stickers for writing Ayu rig specifications.
The new model features an added finger rest function (→ Press the tip of your index finger against the round dimple in the 6th photo to rotate) allowing for secure winding from any position.
The inner spool is divided into 4 compartments,
where you can store items like the leader knot and swivel hooks.
The tension ratchet (→ please refer to the 5th photo) prevents backlash.
Additionally, the widened thread outlets in two locations reduce snagging of large markers and accommodate rotation in both directions. (→ Please confirm the two thread outlets slightly above the center of the screen in the 8th photo)
The differences between the new and old models are:
1. The new model has round dimples for finger rests.
2. The new model's thread outlets are larger, while the old model's thread outlets are slightly smaller. (→ Please compare the 8th and 9th photos)
