I lightly seasoned it, but it has never been used for cooking, simmering, or any other culinary purpose and has been stored away. I recommend re-seasoning it before use.
The size was too large for my family of three, so we are currently using a 10-inch. The 12-inch I am selling this time is recommended for families of 4-5 or more, and is large enough to cook a whole chicken or bake bread with ease.
The dedicated case has some fading and scuffing on the top, but the case itself is in good condition.
(The dedicated case alone retails for 5,500 yen, so this is a great value overall.)
