Plugable USB-C Graphics Conversion Adapter USBC-6950M
This adapter allows you to connect up to two 4K HDMI monitors to Mac systems that are limited to one external monitor connection.
It was very useful when using my M1 MacBook Air in clamshell mode.
You can add two HDMI monitors in extended mode to a single Thunderbolt, USB4, or USB-C port.
It is said to be usable not only with Apple Silicon base models equipped with M1, M2, and M3, but also with Windows and ChromeOS (though not tested).
You will need to download and install the DisplayLink driver.
Please check the manufacturer's website for details.
