H-54H Horn Speaker (Tweeter) 8Ω 8W Hitachi/Lo-D

Horn-shaped tweeter unit for DIY audio speakers (SP). Beautiful metallic horn design.

I built DIY speakers around 1980 and used these for 1-2 years before removing them. They have been stored in a closet for a long time.
They are in good condition externally and are a rare item nowadays.

Horn-shaped units as pictured, 1 pair.

Based on the specifications indicated on the unit and online search:
- Model: H-54H
- Output: 8W
- Impedance: 8Ω
- Type: Horn Speaker
- Material: Metal, die-cast horn section
- Size: Diameter 5.42cm, Depth 8.45cm
- Magnet: Alnico (from online information)

Connected to a LUXMAN amplifier and played audio to confirm.
The sound projects outwards. The following checks were performed:
① (Volume) Both units produced sound at approximately the same volume.
② (Frequency Range) High-frequency sounds were produced, characteristic of a tweeter.
(Note: These checks were based on my auditory perception, as I do not have measurement equipment.)

Packaged in a small cardboard box and shipped via Mercari delivery service.

As these are old used items, I have not been able to perform checks beyond the auditory confirmation mentioned above, and their technical performance is unknown. However, if the sound does not work upon arrival, I will do my best to assist.

We kindly request purchases and consideration from those who understand the risks of used items, have some technical knowledge of speaker units, and can enjoy these products.

Thank you for viewing.
