[Product Description]
A 7mm regular cord that is more durable than a 5mm thin comp cord, and reduces the impact of the board hitting your body due to leash stretch when wiped out by a wave. I personally prefer the regular cord for big waves, especially to prevent injuries from the board or fins hitting my body when the leash stretches and snaps back.

While FCS Helix leashes are good, the Essential series, with its thin and lightweight cuff that isn't bulky, is ideal for big waves or when tucking the leash inside your wetsuit. When the board is wiped out and pulls, the ankle doesn't hurt, and it fits well inside the wetsuit.
