The Dolby Surround Sound Processor transforms any analog stereo headset into a full surround speaker system, allowing you to enjoy powerful surround sound with Xbox, PS3, and even gaming PCs. It also provides a theater-like audio experience for watching movies on Blu-ray and DVD players. Compatible with all analog headphones. For a perfect sound environment, use it with Turtle Beach's following Ear Force series gaming stereo headsets: [XL1, X12, P11, PX21, PX3, Z1, Z2]. The optical digital input terminal converts game consoles and media players to Dolby 5.1/7.1 channel surround sound, while the analog input terminal converts analog stereo sources to virtual surround sound with Dolby Pro Logic IIx. The Bass Boost control adds a subwoofer effect to any audio, creating a more realistic surround experience. When used with game consoles, it can also reproduce 7.1 surround sound from 5.1 channel audio tracks through a hidden channel called Dolby EX.
