The ride feel of John John's fins differs significantly between M and L sizes. Many surfers around 70kg who found the M size a bit too small for larger waves, but felt the L size was too big and made turns feel heavy, have likely experienced this.

While maintaining an M-size-like template, the base has been slightly widened and the height increased to provide better hold, resulting in a well-sized fin. (See image 4)
