This is a Hakoirimusume (Boxed Daughter) Royal Outgame made by Hanabishi Kogyo. I found it in my closet while decluttering.
It's a puzzle where you can enjoy five challenges, ranging from easy to difficult.
This is a used item that I purchased over 30 years ago and enjoyed playing many times with my family. The lid of the outer box is missing, the box itself has considerable dirt, and the paper with the correct solutions has quite a few stains and dirt (see photo 7). The wooden pieces and other parts of the game itself are in good condition considering their age.
Hakoirimusume is a traditional Japanese wooden game where you help the daughter piece escape from the exit. It develops thinking skills and strategy, making it great for brain training!
It comes with the original solutions, so you can play with confidence.
