The Rail Cleaning Car is a vehicle that can remove dust and dirt from the rails while running.
After releasing an N-gauge cleaning car in 2000, an HO-gauge rail cleaning car is now available 24 years later.
[Product Features]
● A rail cleaning car with an exterior inspired by the Type Wam 80000, a representative Japanese two-axle freight car.
● Can be used on commercially available 16.5mm gauge rails.
● The design is a fictional private freight car owned by Tomi Railway, with the possibility of running on JNR lines.
● Powered by dry batteries, it can be connected to a power unit such as a locomotive and run on the tracks, allowing for cleaning unaffected by rail conditions or power supply methods.
● Uses 2 AA batteries (commercially available alkaline batteries sold separately).
● Equipped with a power switch on the upper part of the body, allowing switching between HIGH, LOW, and OFF for the motor rotation.
● Suction fan and attachments remove dust and dirt from the tracks.
● By replacing the suction fan with various discs, the top surface of the rails can be cleaned.
● For heavy dirt, use the dry type (polishing cloth), and for other cases, use the wet type (cloth).
● By attaching the included felt stick and wet disc and soaking the felt stick with rail cleaner, more effective cleaning is possible.
● Equipped with couplers that can connect with Kadee couplers.
● Can pass through a minimum radius of R356 (excluding S-shaped curves).

*The cleaning car is not self-propelled and requires a separate power unit for operation.
