This is a classic American-style steam locomotive.
Similar locomotives were imported to Japan and were active until after World War II on coal mine railways in Hokkaido.
Confirmed to be in working order with power on and headlights lit.
According to the date stamped on the back of the box, this is a model manufactured in 2003 (see image 12).
The headlights are LED and are designed to light up only when moving forward.
It comes in its original box and appears to have been lightly used.
Accessories include Baker couplers and the instruction manual (see images 5 and 6).
No noticeable scratches or damage are visible on the exterior, but this item is not recommended for those who are overly sensitive.
