The Taki 1000-1000 was completed as a special specification painted in three colors – green, blue, and light blue – to commemorate the 1000th Unit, inspired by the paint schemes of Japan Oil Transportation and Japan Oil Terminal, the owners of the Taki 1000, and JR Freight, which operates them. In addition to the logos of each company, the text Taki 1000 - 1000th Unit Commemoration and Safe and Secure Petroleum Tank Car Transport, Kind to the Environment are displayed on the left and right sides of the tank body.
※This is a single unit; it does not have a motor.
A locomotive with a motor is required for operation.
