Purchased directly from Egypt via Fig. Designed for petite individuals.
A gorgeous and beautiful oriental dress with vibrant red and beige petal motifs.
The back of the skirt features organza, giving it structure and volume. The design, where the embellishments increase towards the hem, was too beautiful to alter, so I wore it as is a few times. However, due to the risk of stepping on stones or the hem, I had it professionally tailored. The red organza was kept as is, and only the beige skirt portion was shortened.
The embellishments, which were removed for cutting and re-stitching, were re-arranged and re-attached to the hem after shortening, preserving the original aesthetic.
