Thank you for viewing.

This listing is for live mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis) for fishing bait.

*Please refrain from ordering if you are in Okinawa Prefecture, Kyushu region, or other areas including some remote islands, as we do not ship to these locations.

① The mussels are sold in 1kg lots, with sizes ranging from 0.5cm to under 3cm, unsorted. As we do not sort them meticulously, there may be some larger or smaller mussels than the 0.5cm to 3cm range. There may also be some slight dirt, cracked shells (including those already open and dead), barnacles, and seaweed attached. We will remove as much as possible, but some may remain.

② As shown in the photos, some mussels will be clumped together with byssal threads, while others will be individual. They are sold unsorted.

③ If you wish to specify a delivery date, please indicate a date within one week of your order and your destination prefecture in a message. This is because we cannot determine the delivery time for live bait sent anonymously. Please note that we may have to change or cancel your order due to weather conditions such as storms, high waves, or strong winds.

④ These are for fishing bait and not for human consumption, so they will be shipped in a regular parcel with a water-repellent cardboard box. Ice packs will be included if the temperature rises.
We have shipped over 800 orders of mussels without any reports of spoilage, so please rest assured.

Sales and shipping will be under the conditions described in ① to ④. If you are concerned about other details such as packaging or box types, please refrain from ordering.

We do not ship to Okinawa Prefecture, some remote islands, or areas where ferries are used for transportation.
