Maxam 3 in Paring Knife Straight Edge Stainless Steel Blade Wood Handle Japan. Vintage Maxam stainless steel paring/utility knife made in Japan. Features a compact approximately 3-inch blade, rich brown wood handle with three metal rivets, and full-tang construction visible along the handle. Blade is marked MAXAM Stainless Steel on one side and bears the Maxam shield logo with Japan on the reverse. Measures approximately 7 inches overall. A nice usable vintage Japanese kitchen knife or addition to a vintage cutlery collection. Similar Maxam knives are documented as Japanese-made stainless steel with wood handles and full-tang construction.
