[About Micro Modal Material: For Reference]
Modal fabric, a material currently gaining attention, is a type of rayon used in clothing such as scarves and bedding. Although modal is a synthetic fiber, it has a silky smoothness and luster, and excellent moisture absorption and release properties.

Furthermore, its raw material is wood, making it environmentally friendly, and it is eco-friendly as it releases almost no harmful substances when burned.
It is a chemical fiber made from wood pulp, and it came to be called Modal when the Austrian company Lenzing AG registered it as a trademark.

The difference from rayon is that while rayon's raw material is broadly wood pulp, Modal's raw material is beech wood.
Modal also overcomes rayon's weakness of being weak in water and its strength decreasing when wet.

Therefore, Modal can be said to be an ideal material for clothing and bedding, possessing the functionality and beauty of rayon while enhancing its washability.
