Antique Tin Kitchen Skimmer Strainer Black Wood Handle 13" Primitive Riveted

A nice old primitive kitchen skimmer with plenty of farmhouse character. This antique tin-plated steel skimmer features a 4-inch perforated bowl with rolled edge, riveted construction, long steel shaft, and a black painted wooden handle. Originally used for lifting vegetables, dumplings, eggs, or other foods from boiling water, it now makes a wonderful addition to a primitive kitchen collection, farmhouse décor, or antique utensil display. The skimmer measures approximately 13 inches overall. The bowl is approximately 4 inches in diameter and 2¼ inches deep. It remains sturdy and displays honest age-related wear, including scratches, patina, and surface rust on the steel shaft and ferrule. The black painted wooden handle shows expected wear from years of use, adding to its authentic antique appeal. Please see all photos for condition and measurements.
