This is an original Japanese-made chessboard custom-ordered from a furniture maker's workshop in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
I designed it, so there are only 50 of these chessboards in the world.
The size is 40cm x 40cm.
Each square is 4cm.
I believe this size is sufficient for serious play.
It was custom-made by a furniture maker that produces high-quality furniture, so the quality (wood, craftsmanship, finish) is excellent and you will be satisfied with the product.
Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions or requests for additional photos.
The laser-engraved flat pieces shown in the photo can also be made separately (sold separately).
Since they are handmade using a laser engraving machine, please feel free to inquire.
Board material: Wood
