These are frozen fishing bait crabs from Hyogo Prefecture.
Recommended for fishing for black sea bream, octopus, filefish, and rockfish.
The listed quantity is 100 crabs, but we will ship a few extra to account for any individuals of lower quality.
Can also be used as pet food.
As this is a frozen product, it can be stored at home.
Carapace width is approximately 1-3 cm.
The average size is about 2 cm, but please understand that there may be variations.
Shore crabs often shed their limbs, so we freeze them immediately after catching to minimize limb loss.
However, there may be instances where claws or legs are missing or broken. Please only purchase if you are not concerned about this.
Not for human consumption.
If you require faster shipping, please leave a comment, and we may be able to accommodate your request.
To prevent leakage, the crabs will be placed in a bag and shipped in a cardboard box. (We do not use styrofoam to improve freezing efficiency.)
