These are firefly squid harvested in 2025 from Yaesu Beach in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture! As they were collected from the sandy beach, they contain a significant amount of sand.
They were frozen immediately after harvesting and stored in the freezer. Since they were stored as is after harvesting, seaweed and other marine debris may be attached.
Not vacuum-sealed.
