Vintage 1950s American Bisque Pottery Rooster Cookie Jar Colorful Farmhouse

Beautiful vintage 1950s American Bisque Pottery rooster cookie jar featuring the colorful figural styling these mid-century pieces are known for. This large ceramic rooster has a glossy glazed finish with wonderful shades of pink, green, yellow, cream, and darker feather accents. The detailed molded feathers, prominent comb and wattle, and vibrant coloring give this piece fantastic mid-century farmhouse and country kitchen character. The upper portion lifts off to access the storage compartment inside. Pre-loved vintage condition with age-related crazing and surface wear. There is a visible hairline crack across the upper body/neck area as shown closely in the photos.
