Vintage Japan Salty Peppy Wood Rooster Salt Pepper Shakers MCM Kitsch 5.5in

Vintage Salty & Peppy wooden salt and pepper shaker pair, featuring colorful hand-painted rooster and farmhouse designs. The tall rectangular wooden shakers feature whimsical roosters with red, black, cream and metallic accents alongside small red farm buildings. Each is individually marked SALTY or PEPPY on the front. Measures about 5½ inches tall. Condition: Good Pre-owned. Both show vintage surface and finish wear including scratches, scuffs, discoloration, staining and wear to the painted decoration. Salty has noticeably darker wood/finish and more age-related wear than Peppy. Please review all photographs for condition. Fun example of vintage Mid-Century kitchen kitsch and a great addition to a rooster, farmhouse or vintage salt-and-pepper collection.
