MCM Girl W/Basket Flowers and Boy with Trumpet 9” Gingham Straw Hat‎ Collectible

Vintage mid-century Christmas Caroler figurines produced in the 1970s or 1980s.  they share a similar singing/open-mouth aesthetic with famous brands like Byers' Choice. These specific dolls feature molded vinyl or plastic faces and hands rather than painted plaster or clay. They were incredibly popular holiday imports during the retro era, typically manufactured in Taiwan or Japan.  Measuring approx 9”  The girl has gingham skirt and hat and is carrying basket of flowers. Her hair is perfect blonde curled back.  The boy has a straw hat, carries a trumpet,  Both clothes are sewn on pretty tight. I tried to find markings on their body or clothing. Not sure if they are betters or not ?  The right leg of the boy had been glued where there was a small chip broken off It’s up his trouser leg, you can’t see it unless you roll up his trouser left.  Otherwise they are in perfect condition.  Pre owned.  They are both on round stands.
