Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien Type I-Tei Tamiya 1/72 (Finished Product)

This is a finished model of the Tamiya 1/72 Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien Type I-Tei.

It was completed in January 2026. It has been stored in a display case since completion.

- Built to the specifications of the 19th Air Group, 1945, Luzon, Philippines.
- Creos water-based paints were used for the aircraft's exterior.
- Tamiya panel line accent color (black) was used for panel lining.
- Pre-cut masking tape (purchased separately) was used for canopy painting.
- After completion, the clear canopy parts were protected, and a semi-gloss clear coat was applied to the entire aircraft to unify the tone.

While carefully crafted using both airbrush and brush painting techniques, this is a hobbyist creation by an amateur.

Only the model itself will be shipped. Packaging will be done with the utmost care and thoroughness, similar to the construction process. Aircraft plastic models are extremely delicate, especially the landing gear and armament. Therefore, this aircraft will be supported at three points: both main wings and the rear fuselage, with the main landing gear and tail wheel not touching the ground. It will be completely secured in a suspended state before packaging. A Yu-Packet Plus dedicated box will be used.

Despite these precautions, damage or detachment of parts may still occur during shipping.
