Finished product Hasegawa 1/48 Nakajima Type 4 Fighter Hayate 22nd Fighter Squadron
Kit: Hasegawa 1/48
Primarily airbrushed.
The Hinomaru, fuel port (red and yellow), national insignia, white stripes, and the red border of the Fumuna (likely referring to a specific marking or aircraft type) were painted with an airbrush.
Panel lines were re-scribed where necessary, rivets were added, and the antenna wire is made from 3lb test mebaring fluorocarbon fishing line.
Partial chipping was achieved by applying silicone coating, then peeling it off with a cutter and toothpick.
Managed to finish it in time for Golden Week.
This time, I built the Hayate, which was called the best fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army in America.
It's a personal satisfaction, but it looks incredibly cool!
Soot stains were airbrushed on.
One point of caution:
I apologize, but I actually broke the antenna strut at the base. I have repaired it, but it might be a little weak.
It will be shipped secured with plenty of bamboo skewers embedded in styrofoam.
If there is any damage, please be someone who can repair it.
Instructions will be included.
If you want the box, I can cut it up and include it.
I put a lot of time and effort into this as an amateur.
Thank you for your consideration.
