Vintage 1960s Corning Ware Buffet Server White Covered Skillet w Bakelite Knob EUC Features: a vintage Corning Ware Buffet Server skillet with its matching lid, originally introduced by Corning Ware in 1964. Designed as a minimalist, all-white oven-to-table line, it features a sleek coupe shape without the traditional patterned decals found on standard Corning Ware pieces. The base and lid are made from ultra-durable Pyroceram glass-ceramic which is heavily resistant to thermal shock. The lid is topped with a distinctive, black T-shaped Bakelite knob. Note: The Pyroceram body is safe for ranges, microwaves, and ovens, but the Bakelite handle should not be exposed to oven temperatures exceeding 350°F to prevent blistering.
