Vintage 1960s Enesco Japan Animated Clown Music Box Planter with Pop-Up Mouse

Authentic Enesco Imports Japan animated clown music box and planter combo. This hand-painted ceramic piece features a cheerful clown face with classic orange synthetic hair and a pink top hat. The back of the piece has a rectangular pocket decorated with a molded festoon garland drape, perfect for use as a planter, or trinket holder. When the winding key is turned, the music box plays its melody, and the hidden ceramic mouse inside the clown's hat pops up and down to the music! Fully functional! Retains the original red-and-gold foiled Imports Enesco Japan sticker and the stamped model number. This is a loved vintage piece with minor wear consistent with age. There is a small chip on the pink glaze next to the winding pin opening and the ceramic mouse has tiny fairy bites on its ears and lower base from decades of moving action. No major cracks, breaks, or repairs. Please review all photos closely to verify condition details.
