Ishidai chum with 3kg Red Carpet and 20kg White Carpet
For those who want to catch a lot of Ishidai (striped beakfish) or eat a lot of them, this is a must-see.
I believe that the most important thing in Ishidai fishing is the chum. (More important than the tackle.) To make the chum, use a scraper to peel off oysters, barnacles, and other shellfish clinging to the breakwater, collect them with a net, and put them in a bucket. (Purple sea urchins are also excellent.) The more you have, the better. Then, add 5 kg of white sand (it's harmless) (I personally use 10 kg), crush and mix it well, and it's complete. Please scatter this regularly.
This will create a pure white carpet directly below your rod, and the Ishidai will swarm and stay there. It has tremendous power. I call it the White Carpet. (There's also a Red Carpet.)
If you want to muddy the White Carpet at the bottom, mix the White Carpet with water and rice bran (use plenty of rice bran) to make a dough ball and bury it at your fishing spot. The seabed will be in an uproar (lol) (the amount of water is important).
White dough balls are incredibly eye-catching. They have the power to attract Ishidai from afar. The most important thing is to be conscious of giving the chum its scent, creating turbidity at the bottom, and attracting fish to your bait while fishing.
We will send you 20 kg of White Carpet.
You might think, (This is a ridiculous chum).
However, after 28 years of thinking about how to catch Ishidai, and considering the cost of fishing, I've created this chum with the goal of keeping the price as low as possible. This is the chum we use among friends.
Ishidai are not mythical fish. It's not a sport for the wealthy; Ishidai fishing is about passion.
Using this chum, I've caught 26 Ishidai and Isigaki (ranging from 28 cm to 53 cm) in one day. In autumn, it's an average of 10 fish per day.
Last year, it was around 10 to 15 fish.
If you have any questions or need clarification, please send me a message!
There's a very specific pattern to this chum.
This chum has received a lot of feedback. First, please try the white dough balls. Everyone is catching big Ishidai with them.
There's a world you don't know within this chum (lol).
