【Painted Finished Product】AIRFIX 1/72 British Bristol Beaufighter

This is a painted, finished model of the Bristol Beaufighter, a twin-engine fighter aircraft operated by the British Royal Air Force during World War II.

The scale is 1/72, manufactured by Airfix.

It is primarily a straight build, painted entirely with brushes. The upper surfaces of the aircraft are painted Ocean Grey, and the lower surfaces are painted Sky (Duck Egg Green) in a single color.
Copper is used as an accent color around the engines.

The kit's included decals could not be used, so the model is finished using separately purchased decals.

As it was built in flying configuration, the landing gear covers are glued in place. Please understand this in advance.

Other accessories included are rockets that can be mounted under the main wings, a torpedo that can be mounted under the fuselage, and the instruction manual.

The Beaufighter was an improvement of the twin-engine bomber Beaufort, used by the British Royal Air Force, into a heavy fighter.
It is characterized by its rounded nose and sharply upward-swept horizontal stabilizers.

While not superior in maneuverability, it could carry more armament than single-engine fighters.
Four Hispano 20mm cannons are mounted under the fuselage.

The kit reproduces the T.F.X type, which was primarily active in anti-ship attacks. T.F. stands for Torpedo Fighter.

It will be shipped via Nekoposu (a Japanese postal service). While we will take every precaution in packing, we apologize for any unforeseen damage.
