Wooden Cutting Board Black Walnut Walnut Cutting Board

Product Name: Wooden Cutting Board
Material: Black Walnut
Size: 405×115×13(mm) 340g

We found a beautiful piece of black walnut, so we put extra effort into the polishing process while considering the thickness. Please enjoy the smooth texture. We think it would also be great to use as a serving dish at the dining table.

We create our designs by considering the size, shape, and grain of various types of wood.

Each piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
As these are handmade items, there may be some imperfections, but we hope you will appreciate them as part of their handmade charm. There are individual differences in the wood, but we hope you will enjoy those as well.

~Advantages~
Extremely hard and water-resistant. Depending on the type of wood, the grain can be beautifully highlighted, and sometimes features characteristic tiger stripes (斑).

~Disadvantages~
Made with the assumption of knife use in camping settings. Please be careful of chipping when using thin-bladed knives. Due to the nature of the material, regular maintenance is required.

~Care~
Finished with beeswax polish. After use, wash gently with mild detergent and dry in the shade.
When the oil on the surface wears off, it will feel rough. Lightly sand with sandpaper (240-400 grit), then apply a thin coat of beeswax polish (or a drying oil like olive oil or linseed oil if beeswax is unavailable) and allow it to dry thoroughly.
