● Product
Platz F-15J 1/72 Finished Model ◉ B-Grade
● Note: The book and kit box in the image are not included in the product.
◉ Note: Reason for B-Grade: There is a very small crack of about 1mm on the canopy.
Please check the image.
● Construction
Kit cleaning + straight assembly + primer surfacer + base coat by airbrush + detailed parts by brush painting + decal application + weathering (engine area burn marks and nozzle area) applied by airbrush only + matte top coat + finished.
● Highlights
◯ I took my time and built this carefully. I believe there are almost no glue or paint smudges. (Excluding decal touch-ups).
◯ I had a hard time applying the large decals. Since I dislike decal lifting and silvering, I used a large amount of decal solvent. I believe there is not much decal lifting or silvering.
◯ I have corrected the decal seams. I have touched up the area around the vertical stabilizers and the front, back, and underside of the drop tanks with brush painting. I have color-matched them, but the colors are not a perfect match to the decals, so the corrected areas may be visible upon close inspection. This is a slight negative point.
◯ I used the kit-included missiles.
Two AAM-3s on each wing and two AAM-4s under the fuselage, painted blue for the simulation group as per air show specifications.
◯ The canopy is fixed with double-sided tape at the front and double-sided tape and glue at the rear.
◯ No movable parts.
★ I put a lot of effort into making this. Thank you for your consideration.
● Shipping
◯ I will take great care in packing the product, but in the unlikely event that parts come off during transport, please repair them yourself.
◯ Shipping will generally be on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
★ Thank you for viewing until the end.
● I am also selling the unbuilt kit that I used for this project. Please consider it.
