Description
Scarce 1975 limited hardcover edition of Patricia Wentworth's Wicked Uncle: A Miss Silver Mystery, published by The American Reprint Company. Of particular collector interest, the copyright page states that this title was “printed in an edition limited to 300 copies.” It was republished in 1975 from Patricia Wentworth's original 1947 mystery. Wicked Uncle features Wentworth's popular amateur detective Miss Maud Silver and belongs to her classic British mystery series. The small 300-copy printing makes this American Reprint hardcover substantially scarcer than the later mass-market paperback editions commonly encountered. Blue/gray cloth boards with gilt spine lettering. No dust jacket is shown. The photographs show general age/storage wear and some light discoloration/soiling consistent with a vintage book. Please inspect photographs for exact condition.
