Description
Beautiful pair of Vintage Imperial Glass Company milk glass taper candlestick holders in the classic embossed grapevine motif. This heavy, high-quality pressed glass set features deeply detailed grapes and leaves on a wide pedestal base, complete with elegant ribbed candle cups. These pieces exhibit the genuine Ring of Fire effect. When you hold the translucent edges up to a direct light source, you will see a gorgeous fiery halo/opalescent glow. This unique visual property is caused by iridized salts used in original glass production and is a definitive indicator of authentic milk glass made prior to the 1960s. This pair of beautiful candlestick holders is perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. These always look gorgeous in a holiday or colorful setting with lots of lights and color around it. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or flea bites observed. The white finish is bright and matte/satin smooth.
