Vintage Japanese Dark Brown Teapot Hand Painted Raised Moriage Floral Gold Japan

This is a vintage Japanese teapot featuring a dark chocolate brown/black glaze adorned with hand-painted raised moriage enamel dots and floral detailing, complete with gold gilt accents.  Origin: Japan (Stamped JAPAN in gold on the bottom base)  Material: Ceramic / Pottery  Design: Hexagonal/paneled body with raised bead moriage enamel art, floral motifs, scrollwork, and gold gilt piping along the spout, handle, and lid.  Features: Built-in strainer holes inside the spout base and a steam vent hole on the lid.  Condition Notes:  Small flea bite/chip on the top outer rim of the handle (highlighted in close-up photos).
