This is a beautiful, matching vintage pair (lot of 2) of Carson Statesmetal square pillar/jar candle holder bases from their 1999 home decor collection. Crafted in Freeport, IL, USA, these pieces are made from Carson's signature Statesmetal - a premium heavyweight aluminum alloy designed to beautifully mimic the matte patina, antique satin gray finish, and solid weight of traditional colonial pewter without the softness or susceptibility to heat damage. The gorgeous, intricate openwork design features a cross-axial layout showcasing four symmetrical gothic hearts surrounded by stylized filigree scrollwork that creates detailed pinecone accents at each corner. They are heavily footed to safely lift your candles off table surfaces. Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural aged patina. There are no cracks, breaks, or structural distortions to the alloy. Includes original vintage paper retail department tags attached to the underside.
