FMR AUDIO RNC1773 High-Quality Model Modified Compressor

MADE IN USA. Discontinued product. Operation confirmed.
This is a modified unit ordered from a private modifier on a certain auction site. (Photo 2 shows only the modification cost.)
It is said to have undergone modifications beyond Basic to Basics.

Selling due to lack of opportunities to record. I was very satisfied with the sound quality.

I was particular about the power supply as well.
My memory is a bit hazy, but I believe it was a BELDEN.
There is some damage to the shrink tubing on the outside of the power supply, but it does not affect use.
There are some minor scratches on the main unit and the power supply's box.

We perform superior parts replacement and sound adjustment compared to Back to Basics to achieve an incomparable improvement in sound quality.
In the normal state of the RNC1773, the sound lines are very weak, and the sound lacks power to the extent that it seems to be playing flatly. Therefore, the purpose of modification is to improve the sound's thickness, range, dimensionality, and information content to a much higher level.
Incidentally, this is not a Back to Basics style modification. We perform more advanced modifications with higher quality replacement parts.

By replacing the coupling capacitors with large-capacity film capacitors, the high frequencies will have a significantly wider range, and combined with the op-amp replacement, you will get delicate and silky high frequencies with rich harmonics, incomparable to the normal unit.
By strengthening the power supply section, the entire sound will have a well-defined harmonic richness and a thick, solid, and powerful low-frequency range.
By adding my own unique modifications, I aim to achieve a sound with thickness and a wealth of information that is unimaginable from the normal unit.

The modification greatly increases the amount of sound information, so for acoustic guitar, for example, it beautifully reproduces the high-frequency harmonics and air. For vocals, it achieves both power that doesn't get buried in the backing orchestra and good sound clarity.
Even a light pass-through improves sound clarity and dimensionality, reducing the need for excessive EQ or correction and making sound creation easier than before.

Note that the normal RNC1773 and RNC1773(E) differ by only one op-amp, but in my case, I also strengthen the power supply circuit, replace the input coupling film capacitor, replace the op-amp, and replace all solder joints, including the terminals.
