Antique ELGIN 14K Solid Gold 585 Fine 15 Jewels Pocket Watch Case Chain Fob  Watch Maker: Elgin National Watch Company, USA Era: Circa 1921-24 Movement: 482 Grade, 15-jewel Open-face design, no front lid covering the dial 1 3/4 in diameter, aligns with a ladies or small pendant style pocket watch  Case Maker: Joseph Fahys & Co. Case is solid 14K yellow gold (58.5% purity) Snap-back and hinged front bezel Engine-turned engraving on back with a central cartouche (shield) Serial number: 8669778  Chain: Albert chain with a T-bar for vest attachment Swivel fob with an oval black stone (Onxy?) seal featuring an intaglio carving of a figure No markings. Not gold.   Good antique condition, some patina and minor wear, no major wear or damage. Runs, movement moves. Was just professionally overhauled and tuned up.
