Sterling Silver Banded Agate Cuff Conversion Brooch Pin 25.55g Large Large sterling silver brooch featuring an oval polished banded agate cabochon with dramatic brown, rust, ochre, cream and dark banding. The handcrafted setting combines twisted-wire trim, scalloped loops and dimensional leaf decoration. Metal has been scratch tested as sterling silver. No maker's marks or other stamps are present. Measures approximately 2 high x 1 3/4 wide and weighs 25.55 grams. This piece was converted from a cuff bracelet into a brooch, with portions of the original curved cuff construction remaining on the reverse and an added c clasp pin mechanism. Pre-owned with surface scratches, wear and natural tarnish/patina. The conversion work is evident on the reverse. The agate is securely bezel set.
