According to the owner, this is a casual obi for women, suitable for everyday wear and easy for the wearer to tie themselves.

It is supple and moderately soft.
It is beautiful. There are no stains.
There is a scent from being stored in a chest.

This is a gradient obi that shifts between deep red, vermilion red, and deep orange.
When I first saw it, I thought it was discolored or sun-faded, but it seems that's not the case.
The warp threads in that area were yellow.
Therefore, I think it will appear with vertical stripes when worn.

It has regular multi-stripes of dark red, vermilion red, and orange.
Partway through, it changes to plain weave (likely a thin cotton canvas), and the edges, about 37cm, are pleated again and the width is halved.
Furthermore, around the middle, it is not lined and is single-layered,
and both the front and back are pleated surfaces.
I apologize for not knowing much about obi.

When I unfolded it, I didn't know how to fold it, so I followed the crease lines, but it ended up being folded differently.
