For those who fish offshore, it's common knowledge that fishing gear gets swept away by ocean currents, so everyone uses thin PE lines.
When looking at the specifications of commercially available lantern-style underwater lights, you might be drawn to the up to X meters depth claims.
However, in these current conditions, it's impossible to deploy thick electrical wires and large LED fixtures.

Furthermore, when you look at commercial LEDs on a desk, they illuminate 360 degrees, but I wonder if the area directly under the boat becomes a shadow?
In most cases, the light is swept sideways, illuminating the most important area: where the fishing gear goes.
This is why fishermen who night fish, even after purchasing LEDs, do not use them because they are rendered useless by the current.

While most adult fish dislike light, small fish that are their prey love bright areas.
Young horse mackerel will come up to the surface within the light to feed, but once they grow into medium horse mackerel, they dislike being illuminated.
Even humans dislike being intensely illuminated.
However, when they notice something being illuminated...
They become curious and want to approach the light...
They hide in the shadows and prey on the small fish that are gathered and illuminated in the light.

This listing is for the bulb color, which has the highest illuminance power among fishing lights.
This LED operates on AC 100V, so it can be used directly from a generator.
Simply plug it into an AC 100V outlet.

When illuminating LEDs horizontally in water, you can clearly see the bright area and the dark boundary based on the irradiation angle.
The boundary line viewed from directly above will naturally appear at the same angle when viewed from the side.
When illuminated horizontally, a clear boundary line is formed at approximately 60 degrees towards the water surface and 60 degrees towards the seabed.
(This is the same situation as the shadows created when using lights on squid fishing boats or night fishing boats.)
