Venetian Gold and Black Half-Face Masquerade Mask - Italian Decorative Accent

Authentic hand-painted Venetian masquerade mask by La Maschera del Galeone, made in Venice, Italy. Ornate half-face design featuring raised scrollwork in black, ivory, and antiqued gold, with a black satin ribbon for tying. The original maker’s tag, guarantee certificate, and wax seal remain attached. Approximately 7.5” wide. Preowned with original tags attached. A small portion of the raised gold decoration is chipped/missing at the lower center of the nose, exposing the light-colored material underneath. This area could likely be touched up with gold craft paint if desired. Light surface and edge wear and minor ribbon-end fraying are also present. The remaining distressed and antiqued finish is intentional to the hand-painted design. Please review all photos, especially the close-up of the nose. Perfect for Halloween, a masquerade ball, Mardi Gras, Carnival, theater, Venetian décor, or collectible display. Listing is for the mask only; display props are not included.
