I only know what I have been told. I purchased this Inuit belt several years ago at an estate sale. The original owner had died and family were selling her belongings. I was told that the owner purchased this belt from Inuit children in Alaska. Her nephew was stationed there, many years ago, and she purchased this belt on one of her visits. It is made from leather and seal fur. That’s all that I know 🤷♀️ Is this belt an Inuit or First Nations creation? The fur looks like seal. It measures 38 overall.
