Red x Stripe White Polka Dot Polyester Fabric, 15.5m, Made in Japan, Flamenco Costume

Red fabric with striped polka dots.
The base fabric also has red stripes.
This is a very rare pattern.

It was purchased for flamenco costumes.

110cm width, 15.5m length.
The largest polka dots are 8mm.
100% polyester, with some transparency.

Photo 1 shows the fabric with white paper underneath to make the pattern easier to see.

It is folded with the wrong side out.

I imagine that costumes made from georgette fabric
can easily get snagged and damaged by rough fingernails,

but this fabric has a crisp texture
and seems relatively durable for its thinness.

It also drapes beautifully.

I wanted to use this lightweight, thin fabric to create a ruffled costume,
but it never got used.

*When making a costume,
considering the possibility of stepping on it,
I recommend reinforcing the underside of the bottom ruffle
(by doubling it with this fabric) to prevent damage.*

This is a very lovely fabric,
so would anyone like to use it for a costume?
