Soutache is said to have originated from the decorative patterns sewn onto the cuffs and collars of European aristocratic blouses and jackets using special flat cords (braids).
It is made by combining colorful cords with cabochons and beads. The finished pieces are very light and glamorous.
While often used for accessories in flamenco and belly dancing, they are also perfect for everyday wear♪ They are truly lovely.
This piece uses white and gold soutache cords. Although small, it has a strong presence! It's suitable for everyday wear too!
