Micro Ace Fubutsu-shi Dango-ya Diorama Finished Product

Micro Ace Fubutsu-shi Series Dango Shop
Diorama - Finished Product

Created with the image of a dango shop in Edo during spring, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
The base was not made from the kit, but rather a custom base with a display case was created.

The base features a tiered design to represent a riverbank.
Fish are swimming in the river, with clear resin used to depict the water.

Figures included:
Dango shop owner
Woman serving dango to a customer
Woman in kimono waiting for dango
Shopkeeper praying for prosperity in the backyard
Dango shop customer tying up a horse
Messenger delivering a letter, dog, rice bales
Two cherry blossom trees, signboards, river fish
Shishi-odoshi (deer scarer), stone lantern, shrine, torii gate

All of the above were created using 3D printing.

The cherry blossom trees are realistically depicted using cherry blossom powder.

The flowing water of the shishi-odoshi is also represented with clear resin.

A fence made of natural materials is placed around the shrine behind the shop.

Shoji doors, not included in the kit, were repurposed from another kit.

Furthermore, the roof of the dango shop is intentionally not glued down, allowing a view into the interior.
LED lighting is installed under the roof, gently illuminating the interior.

Compared to a standard build, I believe this work has turned out with considerable volume.
