Vintage Dutch Delft Blue Tile Atlas Bell Wall Clock w/ Brass Weights

A wonderfully decorative vintage Dutch Zaanse, or Zaandam-style, wall clock. Combining traditional Dutch clockmaking imagery with a dependable German-made Hermle 8-day mechanical movement. With its warm wooden case, extensive antiqued brass ornamentation, Delft-inspired blue-and-white dial and pendulum decoration, hanging pear-shaped brass weights, and iconic Atlas figure surmounting the clock, this is an especially handsome example of the traditional Dutch Zaanse revival clocks produced during the latter part of the 20th century.  The clock measures approximately 24 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep, not including the additional visual length created by the hanging chains. Its relatively narrow proportions allow it to make an impressive architectural statement on the wall without requiring the space of a full-size Dutch stoelklok.   In almost perfect condition except back of clock is missing the door. (In last pic).  Not tested, so I’m not sure if it is in working order. Priced accordingly.  Brass weights are included.
