Description of Standard Version:
When you hook a squid, the wire in the gaff part extends due to the squid's weight.
Also, when one hook catches, the surrounding hooks follow and catch the squid in multiple places.

When you hook and lift a squid, the free-swiveling joint mechanism demonstrates its effectiveness, preventing the loss of your catch, such as Aori squid!

This product is made entirely of stainless steel.

The manufacturer's Shimizu Barasan Gaff is now a discontinued product and unfortunately unavailable on the market.
This product is made referencing the Barasan Gaff.
As this is a handmade item, there may be variations in the product. We cannot accept complaints or returns.

Price negotiation is not accepted.

Please purchase after understanding the above.

I have been modifying and using the Barasan Gaff for 9 years.
When mine broke, I made one out of stainless steel and have been using it. It's excellent for reducing lost catches.

Note:
To prevent salt corrosion, it is recommended to wash with water and apply CRC or other lubricants for better durability.

After use, wash with water to prevent sticking.

Do not overtighten the handle of the landing net; a light grip is sufficient.

Reflective tape is included but not attached, as preferences vary. Please use it if you like.
(Red reflective version)

[Warning]
There are individuals selling counterfeit Barasan Gaffs on Amazon, using photos and products from Mercari and selling them at inflated prices.
Please be careful.
