Vintage Oneida Tudor Plate Gold Plated Covered Butter Dish with Lid

This is a beautiful vintage covered butter dish from the Tudor Plate line by Oneida Ltd. This elegant piece features a stunning golden finish over a classic rectangular base tray with a matching domed lid topped by an ornate decorative finial knob.  Structurally, this piece is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, or warping-the lid fits perfectly flush against the tray.  Lid Exterior: Exceptional cosmetic condition with a highly reflective, mirror-like gold finish. Shows only very light, faint hairline surface swirls from gentle handling over the years. No deep scratches or pitting on the top of the lid.  Lid Interior: Bright, shiny, completely intact, and free of pitting.  Base Tray Interior: There is noticeable pitting and flaking inside the bottom center of the tray where the base metal is exposed from normal vintage use.  Base Tray Exterior: Faint plating runs, minor aging spots, and tiny dark flecks are visible along the outer rim edges.  Please note: The original glass insert is not included.
