This is a Maru Obi from Nishijin Asagi, featuring the flowers of each season blooming within a coffered ceiling, inspired by the Rinpa school masters such as Sotatsu Tawaraya, Korin Ogata, and Hoitsu Sakai. The design showcases quail and pine trees dusted with snow, as if taken from a garden or wild mountain, each offering a captivating view. Both sides feature the gods of wind and thunder watching over the hand-tied ends.

There are signs of use, such as creasing from being tied. As it is a Maru Obi, only one side is sewn together, but the seams at the hanging end, the drum knot, and the front of the obi are frayed due to deterioration. Other than that, there are no major stains, and the condition is good.
