Vintage c. 1920s–1930s Art Deco hand-painted teacup and matching saucer by Ridgways in the L'Italia pattern (No. 7682) from their Bedford Ware line. Made in Staffordshire, England, this set features raised fruit/floral swags in yellow and green with rich yellow rim borders over a cream-colored earthenware glaze. Maker: Ridgways (Bedford Ware) Pattern / Number: L'Italia / No. 7682 Origin: England Includes: 1 Teacup, 1 Saucer Markings: Saucer base stamped RIDGWAYS HAND PAINTED MADE IN ENGLAND BEDFORD WARE L'ITALIA No 7682. Cup base stamped ENGLAND with painter's mark. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Displays age-appropriate glaze crazing throughout. The interior bottom of the teacup shows noticeable vintage tea/age staining. No chips or cracks detected.
